This is why letters to the editor (LTEs) are still a powerful way to change the conversation.<\/p><h4>Make your voice heard!<\/h4><p>A few tips before you dive in:<\/p><ul><li>If you\u2019re responding to a recent article, mention the headline and the date it ran.<\/li><li>Choose a compelling subject line for your email.<\/li><li>Be clear, concise and accurate \u2014\u00a0and mention why the issue is important to you. Why do you care?<\/li><li>Keep it short!
